Our Story

Kitesurfing is our passion – but this place is our soul.

Paradise Kite School was born in the heart of La Guajira, built by local riders who grew up between sand, salt, and wind. We’re not outsiders chasing waves – we are from here. Every instructor at Paradise is 100% local – raised in Cabo de la Vela, taught by nature, and trained to share their love for kitesurfing with you.
This school is more than a business.
It’s our way to bring sustainable tourism to our community, to empower young people, and to protect this unique land we call home.

Our Team

The wind is strong – and so is our crew.

At Paradise Kite School, we’re proud to be 100% local. Our team grew up with the sea in their blood, the wind in their face, and kites in the sky.
We don’t just teach kitesurfing – we live it, every day.

Our Values & Principles

What drives us

At Paradise Kite School, kitesurfing is more than wind and water. It’s freedom, connection, and responsibility. We don’t just live from the wind – we live with it. And with the people who call this land home.

Local Empowerment

We are 100% locally owned and operated. We believe in the power of our community. That’s why we train young Wayuu riders and create real opportunities right here in Cabo.

Passion for Progress

Every day on the water is a chance to grow. As riders, as people, and as a team. We challenge ourselves and support each other – with heart and dedication.

Respect for Nature

Cabo is wild, raw and beautiful. Nature is a gift – and we protect it. We leave no trash, respect animals, and live in harmony with the wind and the desert.

Cultural Pride

The Wayuu culture is the soul of this place. We don’t use it as a brand – we live it. With pride, with respect, and with a deep connection to our roots.
